Fish

In my opinion, the fish is the most versatile design you can have in your quiver. If I could only have one board in my quiver, it would definitely be a classic twin keel fish. Though originally designed to be ridden in hollow, slabby waves, the fish can excel just as well in sloppy two foot conditions. Fish is a pretty broad and somewhat generic term in today’s surf marketplace. I tend toward the historical and my designs are rooted there. I have at least six different fish models that represent my interpretations of the evolution of the fish design…from Steve Lis to Skip Frye to Chris Christenson and then the island vibes fish of Takayama and Bertlemann.
